Damn it’s cold

Yo!

Wow its cold out there, in fact it’s pretty cold inside too.
Nevertheless, I put some snow on the front page to spread peace, joy and happiness.
We can put it on your website too – for a festive cost (give us an e-mail)

Christmas is next week on Friday, where has this year gone? It’s flown by so quick for us at sixredsquares. It’s been a really busy year, and fingers crossed on to bigger and better things for next year. I’ve still not done any Christmas shopping, I’m sure I’m not alone there! Hope it’s not too late for play.com

We have launched a couple of new promo sites…

Web Design Essex

Search Engine Optimisation Essex

Schools Design

I’m sure I will write another blog before Christmas but if I don’t…
We wish you all a very Merry Christmas!!!

Beauty Salon gets a makeover!

In-Touch returned to sixredsquares to take their website to the next level! The challenge was not only to create a unique look for the In-Touch brand, but also to find an engaging way to promote the new website to their clientele and the world-wide web.

Utilizing new technologies to create a more immersive experience we installed a Content Management System to allow In-Touch to update the website on a regular basis. We also installed a blog to allow interaction with their clientele and help create links to drive traffic towards the website.

showcasing artists at the sixredsquares gallery in Leigh-on-sea

We are proud to announce that we will be showcasing local artists, at the sixredsquares gallery in Leigh-on-sea.

‘Erik Hudson’ will be exhibiting at the gallery as of the 5th of March.

I have been interested in art for as long as I can remember. I first started to get involved in art from the age of four years; this wasn’t just finger painting I was taking moulds of my toy cars, using paper Mache and making sculpture out of clay and wire. The inspiration and encouragement came directly from my mother, who was studying fine art at Canterbury University at the time. Ever since that time my desire in life has been to become a recognised artist.

After I finished my GCSE’s I completed a BTech in fine art and then went on to university where I achieved a Degree in Fine Art at the University of Wales Institute – Cardiff (UWIC).

I specialised in sculpture to give myself the freedom to work in any medium, as I did not want to confine myself to just a canvas. With sculpture I was able to combine so many different mediums and objects, I get a lot of inspiration from things I find in skips, tip yards and the array of amazing things people throw away, it is great to recycle these objects and give them a new meaning, so to speak. I am able to use my sculpting knowledge in my every day life which often translates onto the canvas, with everyday objects appearing now and again whether in there true form or a slightly twisted one.

I have looked to some brilliant painters of the past taking influence from the likes of Jean Michael Basquiat, mainly in the attitude that he goes to his canvas, often having about 6 on the go at a time working on an array of ideas.

I was recently given the opportunity to do a entrance wall piece in a local vintage clothing shop in Southend which was a brilliant opportunity for me to do a piece of work on that scale.

There is lots of local talent that I am seeing all the time, but it’s Gallery’s like sixredsquares that give us the opportunity to get our foot in the door.

Across Inside Billy

That night Billy eyes reflected a new desire, the fugitive flames caressed his pupils and sparked the look on his eyes, so many objects on fire, so many concluded experiences….the exile was vanishing…and all the books made sense, and were no longer occupying the wrong place. Like the one left on his bedside table, flaming, after his firm step forward.

Yes, Billy provoked it, didn’t wanted to listen to the silence anymore, now he could take note of the harmonies coming out his deepest thoughts. Embrace freedom, hold it, breath and shout! And that close fire wormed up his voice to howl, to sing and to laugh. To laugh in such a provocative way that he didn’t stop. Till he reached extasis. Now, was only him left.

That’s what he did, after experienced all named capital pleasures. But now he didn’t want them anymore cause he didn’t need them any longer. He just wanted to go back being that globetrotter that after a long voyage, chooses to give value to freedom. Again.

Because wisdom thaught him to grow on his ideas, simplify his decisions and be more content everyday with less…but surrounded by more people. Promised not to desire loneliness in vain, not to run materially from one spot to the other, not from one mistake to another…not to be followed by illusions. Because these grow and follow you if you don’t shut them the door. Like bad threads … But Billy´s eyes will always reflect the ones he traced with love and care.

His work is to be a visionary, can’t see or feel what it cant be imagined, and this is a true principle, which he will dedicate till death. If someone is red and can only see red, every other colour will have that light shown incomplete and his vision won’t go any further. From this basic statement raised the idea of humility and sharing.
Someone with the urge to know further is a survivor, intelligent. He will know it is necessary to be permeable, pupil of the unknown, patient. Destructor of the defined ideas. Constructor of a new hope.

There is much to say about hope and faith, but the way forward is in the multitude, there, in the middle of the people, people equal to each one of us that together are simply just that, One. Joined by the adjectives that have been build by ourselves.

The big question raised is whether Good and Evil exists or is that a matter of Election within ourselves? To choose once and again, sometimes consciously, sometimes instinctively, always in a respectfully way, facing on what is given to you. Irony.
…and stop naming principles and values, because respect is the fundamental pillar of Love, all the answers and everything that we come to understand, lie on It.

Billy knew that each one of us has its own impulses to keep going, but now he is glad and tranquil of having found his!
His steps would now wipe the mistakes behind him, taking him forward, wherever he would choose to go.
