Geezer Bird UCAS Fair Promos

The college required a distinctive brand design to promote courses at the UCAS Art & Design Fair in Islington’s Design Centre. The brief was to create something that would make the college stand out from other institutions and engage with prospective students. The ‘Geezer Bird’ concept was designed to be a parody of the South East Essex area and the stereotypes associated with it. This light-hearted approach introduced some humour and made the college more accessible to the student audience. The quirky style of the design turns negative perception on its head and uses it to its advantage. The identity was illustration based and laid out across a number of different formats such as business cards for the teachers, posters and other promotional print items, as well as a large-scale exhibition stand design.
